Alex Burke - as a team member of Smoke 'em if you Got 'em; he will continue with involvement in the Charity, Member Services / Events and Sanctioning Committees this year.
Craig Kimberley - as the pit master of Grand Smoke Railroad BBQ and the face of BBQit! Craig will be focusing his talents and expe- rience in the Technology and Marketing Committees to bring NEBS to a stronger social media presence. His love for all things BBQ will lend a hand in his other role in the Nominating / Re- cruiting Committee.
Anissa Ladd - Recording/ Corresponding Secretary - new to the Board this year, she has been on the BBQ circuit with both her brother's competition team and her friend's team for multiple contests. Her strengths are marketing, project coordination and events - her past roles with holding board positions as president in other industries will bring experience and organization. Her love of BBQ and all the things related will tie right in to the mis- sion of NEBS while co-chairing the Member Services / Events and Marketing Committees.
Chris Clegg - Treasurer - pit-master of Rhode Hog BBQ; a two per- son team with his wife Joan. Chris travels to states outside of the NEBS region to compete in KCBS contests normally doing in the range of 20 contests per year. Mike Strout - Co-Treasurer - pit-master of Team GottaQ and restaurant / food truck / caterer owner of GottaQ Restaurant. Mike began his competing last year and brings in a new member- ship of non-competitors who just love BBQ. Mike's insight as an owner of a BBQ restaurant first and foremost then a competitor helps to ground NEBS to the "love of BBQ" and sharing this with others outside of the competition circle. Mike will continue to have an active role in the Charity Committee as chair, the Mem- ber Services /Events as well as the Marketing Committee.
Tom Ryan - Vice President - co-pit-master of Smoke 'em if you Got 'em out of Massachusetts and has renewed his board term. Tom has been heavily involved with classes and events as a Board Member and will continue to oversee all committees with a focus on Member Services / Events.
Kim Stanfield - President - member of the BBQ team Boo Boo Qued; she has been on the NEBS Board of Directors for multiple terms and is returning this year to her previous position of Presi- dent. With a focused group of directors as well as great ideas and requests from the members, she will continue to oversee all com- mittees and the growth of NEBS.
