3. OUTCOMES

IFSU and its Campuses including Potia has a well-designed and functional
organizational structure. Its website http://ifsu.edu.ph/, its University newsletter

(Footprints), facebook accounts of the Offices in the Campus catering to the students

and employees, and Campus Student newsletter (Greenfields) exposes the activities
showing that it has a well-designed and functional organizational structure. It is able to

immediately adjust and adopt with the change of environment brought about by the
COVID-19 pandemic and was able to extend a helping hand to other communities in

distress. It celebrated its 100 years anniversary of academic excellence October 14,
2020 despite restrictions due to the pandemic situation.

IFSU envisioned to move forward and bring to a higher level the quality of

programs and services. It subjected itself for evaluation and received its ISO9001-2015
certification. IFSU-Potia Campus scheduled for ISO evaluation in 2021. At the moment,

IFSU intends to undergo quality assurance process of Institutional Sustainability
Assessment (ISA) by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), a quality

assurance process that assesses institutional sustainability of an HEI in the key areas
of Governance and Management, Quality of Teaching and Learning, Quality of

Professional Exposure, Research, and Creative work, and Support for students and

Relations with the community. ISA will also look into the university’s system, the extent
of implementation, outcomes of the system, and effectiveness of the system whether

these systems lead to the attainment of the desired quality outcomes.
