Featured Speaker: Sam Quinones
Sam Quinones (last name pronounced Kin-YOH-Ness) is a Los Angeles- based freelance journalist and author of three books of narrative
nonfiction. His latest book is Dreamland: The True Tale of America's Opiate Epidemic (Bloomsbury, 2015), for which he traveled across the United States to see how and where the opioid crisis began. Sam will discuss the roots of the crisis, how it’s affecting the restaurant industry and what we can do to help stop it.

A native of Columbus’ South Side, Tom began his career at the original Donatos Pizza. He rose to the post of Chief Operating Officer as the business grew from seven to 150 restaurants. Now in his position as Chief Advisor at the Edge Innovation Hub, Tom is ushering in the newest generation of food innovators.

Chef Christian Gill has become a Food Network favorite over the past few years. He competed on Guy’s Big Project and was crowned champion in Guy’s Grocery Games and The Ultimate Thanksgiving Challenge. Chef Gill is known for his larger than life personality, as much as he is for his delicious recipes. This demo is going to be a rockin’ good time and it kicks off the Cincinnati showcase, Sysco Sunday!
