BECKY PARR, PT, DPT
I am honored to be nominated for the position of Ohio delegate to the APTA House of Delegates. As a physical therapist working in Ohio for the last decade, I have witnessed many challenges and opportunities for therapists. I have worked within academia, large hospital systems, medium-sized private practices, and my own private practice, and am a doctoral candidate at the University of Indianapolis. I have served OPTA and APTA in a multitude of capacities over the last decade. I have been invited to the Federal Advocacy Forum, I serve as a key contact for state legislative issues, and I participate regularly in OPTA Advocacy Day. Currently, I am serving on the OPTA Conference Committee and as the West Central District Chair. Through these experiences at the local, state, and national level, I have gained a solid understanding of issues affecting
our profession today. The APTA House of Delegates makes important decisions that profoundly impact our profession. As delegate, I will advocate for policies to promote and advance our profession.
COLTON RHINEBOLT, PT, DPT
I am incredibly honored to be slated for a position as a state delegate. Over the past few years, the OPTA
has been infinitely helpful to me as a young professional. It is apparent to me how much we as individual practitioners owe our state chapter for fighting for our profession and bringing the physical therapy discipline to where it is today. In the last three years, I have sought more involvement and leadership within the OPTA.
I am active at the district level, I am a two-term district representative for the EPSIG, and I graduated with the first cohort of the L.I.F.E. Series Leadership Academy this past year. These recent experiences have allowed
me to develop my skills as a leader and have prepared me to take the next step as a delegate for the OPTA.
I would be honored to use the skills that I have learned to give back to the OPTA and the profession.
PAM RITZLINE, PT, EdD
As I complete my first term as an Ohio delegate, I applaud the dedication and commitment of such a hard- working group of professionals. What a privilege to serve with the group. I am honored to be slated to serve an additional term as a delegate for the Ohio Physical Therapy Association. I have extensive experience as a delegate for the Indiana and Tennessee Chapters including serving as Chief Delegate while in Tennessee. I am passionate about physical therapy and welcome the opportunity to continue to serve the Ohio delegation as we guide our profession into the future. I would appreciate your vote. Thank you for considering me for a second term as an Ohio delegate.
KATHY SZIRONY, PT, DPT
I am honored to be nominated as one of your Ohio delegates to the APTA House of Delegates. I have had the opportunity to serve our members at the district, state, and national level most recently as Ohio Delegate
to the APTA House of Delegates (2016 to present) and Vice President of OPTA (2009 to 2015). I have gained so much as an active member of our professional association because of the people and the relationships developed. Every time I volunteer or attend an OPTA or APTA event I meet new and amazing people who inspire me to be a better physical therapist and do more for our profession. It is that motivation and passion that continues to excite me about our profession.
The House of Delegates is an APTA policy-making body. Delegates make decisions on issues that may have far-reaching implications for the association and our profession. I would love to have the opportunity to continue to represent our members in Ohio with a voice as we shape the future of our profession. Your input is important to our work as delegates and I look forward to your ideas, suggestions, and feedback as we move our profession forward.
I respectfully request your ongoing support and vote as delegate for our association. Thank you for your consideration.
