2021 PROPOSED OPTA BYLAWS AMENDMENT -1
Details:
The Ohio Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association would like to allow its membership to vote on the issue of adding an Alternate Representative to the Physical Therapist Assistant Caucus to the Chapter Bylaws. Currently, there is an Alternate Delegate to the House of Delegates for Physical Therapist Members,
but only one (1) Representative to the Physical Therapy Assistant Caucus. This would add a new Article X of the Ohio State Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association, Inc. Bylaws. Official language to be published.
Options:
• Yes - I approve the proposed amendment
• No – I do not approve the proposed amendment
2021 PROPOSED OPTA BYLAWS AMENDMENT -2
Details:
The Ohio Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association would like to allow its membership to vote on the issue of allowing the appointment of alternate delegates for a one-year term. Currently, it only allows for the election of alternate delegates. This would amend Section 2.C.3 of the Ohio State Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association, Inc. Bylaws. Official language to be published.

• No – I do not approve the proposed amendment
2021 PROPOSED OPTA BYLAWS AMENDMENT -3
Details:
The Ohio Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association would like to allow its membership to
vote on the issue of the President no longer being required to serve as an elected Delegate to the House of Delegates. This would amend Sections 2 and 4 of the Ohio State Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association, Inc. Bylaws. Official language to be published.

• No – I do not approve the proposed amendment
2021 PROPOSED OPTA BYLAWS AMENDMENT -4
Details:
The Ohio Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association would like to allow its membership to vote on the issue of requiring the Chief Delegate to the House of Delegates to serve as an alternate delegate
in the year immediately following their term as Chief
to allow mentorship of the incumbent Chief and formal succession planning. This would amend Section 4 of the Ohio State Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association, Inc. Bylaws. Official language to be published.
