Continuing Education Straight from the “Horse’s Mouth”
Did you participate in August’s Lunch & Learn webinar that featured OTPTAT Licensure Board staff members? Executive Director Missy Anthony and Paralegal Jaklyn Shucofsky presented the most up-to-date information on continuing education for PTs and PTAs .

is available in OPTA’s on-demand CE catalog and you can earn one CEU for completing the course . Ms . Anthony and Ms . Shucofsky discussed the new jurisprudence assessment module – worth two CEUs towards your license renewal and required for PTs who renew their license in January 2022 and PTAs renewing in January 2023 .
Other topics covered in this webinar were the expansion of new CEU opportunities – providing volunteer physical therapy services and the renewal of specialty certifications – as well as the audit process and common errors committed by PTs and PTAs selected by the Board for a CEU audit .
The OTPTAT Lunch & Learn Webinar was a follow-up to the 2019 podcast with Executive Director Missy Anthony and OPTA Executive Director Victoria Gresh, the link to which can be found on the OPTA website under Resources, then Podcasts .
