2020 has been a year full of changes and transitions that we could not have expected . The Northeast District has been able to meet via Zoom calls and will continue to bring virtual CEU opportunities for the remainder of 2020 . However, before the onset of Coronavirus, the Northeast District held a CEU event in January that was titled: “Increasing the Intensity of Balance Training: What, Why, and Especially How .” This was a great talk put on by Dr . Ann Reinthal, PT, Ph .D . , and Dr . Debbie Espy, PT, Ph .D .
Since that time, the Northeast District has met via Zoom to begin planning out the next half of 2020 . We hosted our annual PT House of Delegates Update on July 7, 2020, in conjunction with the OPTA’s Central District . This was an excellent event that really highlighted many of the changes that can occur when we, as a profession, work together . I want to thank Christine Schulte PT, MBA, and Michelle Masterson, PT, Ph .D . for their efforts in creating this presentation and giving
us the latest updates from the State and Federal level as well as the proceedings from the House of Delegates this year .
We look forward to hosting more events in 2020 virtually or when able, in-person . However, we are
still in the planning stages with more information
