Meet the Chief
Individual Introduction:
Name: Lou Ann Metz, OFE, NRP Years in the fire service: 36
Career “journey”: I began my fire service career in my hometown of Randolph, Ohio where I served as a vol- unteer. In 1985, I was hired in the city of Ravenna where I served for 5 yrs. In 1990, I was hired in Stow and retired in 2016 as a Division Chief. I also worked for Munroe Falls Fire Department from 1999 to 2007 when I was promoted to Division Chief in the city of Stow. In August of 2016, I was hired as the first full-time Fire Chief of the Bainbridge Township Fire Department in Geauga County.
