Happy New Year!
By now, we are well into 2018 and maybe you are
still hard at work on those resolutions or maybe not...Whatever the case for you, I hope one of the resolutions you keep is to get more involved with OPTA! There are so many opportunities and we need you in order to meet our strategic goals for this year We are hard at work to increase our membership this year Talk to your colleagues and students to let them know all of the bene ts of belonging to APTA and
OPTA From discounted CEUs, to a strong network of professionals, to a voice to advocate for our practice to access to cutting edge research, the bene ts are vast! We are #BetterTogether and we have so much potential to accomplish great things for our profession
I hope you will come to the OPTA Annual Conference on April 13-14 in Columbus, as it is the place to be for learning and networking in Ohio! This edition of ACCESS has details about the conference and there is something for everyone In addition to the conference programming, which is excellent, plan to also come to the PACy hour and help us support our legislative advocacy in this election year The membership meeting is dynamic, informative, and we get to recap 2017, reveal our initiatives for 2018 and recognize our award winners
I look forward to seeing you at an OPTA event this year Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have questions, concerns, ideas or would like me or one of the board members to come talk about OPTA at your facility
