QUEEN CREEK FIRE STATION NO. 1 AND PUBLIC SAFETY FACILITY
The Queen Creek Fire Station No. 1 and Public Safety Facility, built for the Town of Queen of Creek, included the demolition of aging municipal structures and the new construction of a 13,400 square foot fire station and a 22,400 square foot public safety and multipurpose facility in Queen Creek, AZ. The facility houses the Town of Queen Creek’s Fire Department’s Battalion Chief, Fire Station No. 1, public safety, community chambers, and law enforcement headquarters, and supports 12 dormitories, administrative offices, and three apparatus bays. The public safety complex was constructed utilizing a slab-on-grade foundation with a steel frame, architectural masonry with metal wall panels for the exterior finish, and a combination of metal and foam roof. By consolidating crucial municipal and emergency services into one location, the Town of Queen Creek Public Safety Facility project now meets the need to service a rapidly growing population.
