   ROCHESTER MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL
The Rochester Middle and High School project, built for the Rochester Community Unit School District, included the renovation of multiple buildings and the new construction of a 100,000-square-foot building addition located in Rochester, IL. The facility supports classrooms, science labs, a medical center, administrative offices, a cafeteria, a kitchen, and a wing for the performing arts. The new building addition was constructed of a steel structural frame and a brick veneer with stone and metal siding accents. Curtain walls, aluminum entries, and aluminum windows allowed for more natural lighting and completed the construction of the project. The facility features a large courtyard, a 30-foot tall clock tower, and custom floating ceilings. Because of CORE’s seamless coordination with the client, the Rochester Middle and High School project was completed on time within a strict time frame.
