CORE | PUBLIC SAFETY EXPERIENCE
    ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY POLICE HEADQUARTERS
The Arizona State University (ASU) Police Headquarters project included the new construction of a 40,000-square-foot police department located in Tempe, AZ. The facility houses the main headquarters for the ASU Police Department and serves to protect the public areas of the University’s campus. The building was constructed on a spread footings and concrete slab foundation with a tilt-up structural frame. The exterior finish consisted of exposed concrete and steel trusses, and decking comprised the roof. This project achieved LEED Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for energy efficiency and sustainability. Due to CORE’s extensive project planning and coordination with Arizona State University and the City of Tempe, site construction for the project occurred during off-peak traffic hours eliminating any additional delays to rush hour traffic.
