As a proud son of a retired police officer, I have a small
understanding of the sacrifice and human kindness
that the vast majority of public safety officers exhibit in the
performance of their responsibilities. With the few examples
of bad behavior that seem to dominate the news, it is a shame
that the thousands of daily examples of the positive effects
you have on our communities do not get the same attention.
Thank you for all of your efforts on our behalf.
