“THREE SCORE YEARS AND TEN” MISSIONARY WORK IN CHINA

PROLOGUE
This is the story of three generations of my husband, Percy Moore's family in China dating from 1881
to 1951.
It has been written so that our children and grandchildren and all future generations may know what a
unique and wonderful heritage they have.
Psalm 79:19 (RSV) "We, Thy people, the flock of Thy pasture, will give thanks to
Thee for ever. From generation to generation we will recount Thy praise."
Psalm 78:4 - 7 "We will tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord,
and His might, and the wonders which He has wrought . . . to teach our children, that
the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them
to their children, so that they should set their hope on God, and not forget the works of
God, but keep His commandments."
Psalm 34:8 (NIV) "The Lord's faithfulness continues to all generations."
