 Classic Gooey Brownies
Ingredients:
For Batch of 16:
175g Chocolate Chips.
175g Margarine.
3 medium eggs.
250g caster sugar.
75g plain flour.
40g cadbury bournville cocoa(hot chocolate).
Method:
1. Melt the chocolate and margarine in a bowl over a pan of simmering water. Cool slightly.
2. Whisk the eggs and sugar together until thick and creamy.
3. Preheat the oven to 180°C, oil and line the base and sides of a 20cm square cake tin with baking parchment.
4. Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg/sugar mixture and fold in.
5. Sift in the flour and cocoa then pour into the prepared tin, making sure it goes right into the corners.
6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, the top should be crusty with a slight wobble underneath.
7. Cool completely in the tin(can refrigerate overnight) then cut into squares.
