Redesign and development of Vigyan Prasar website
VP website is intended to lead as a repository of science and technology communication activities and hence VP is working forward to a new look of its website with the sole mission of providing satisfying user experience. Towards the fulfilment of this objective, efforts have been made to make the site aesthetically appealing and highly interactive with leaner file sizes to ensure faster downloads. The additional features such as enriching multimedia content, Webcast- enabled, audio-visual presentations, a high- quality repository of S&T resources, etc., will be incorporated in the new version of VP website.
DST Website for Communicating Science and Technology through Digital Media and Social Media
Vigyan Prasar has been assigned the production of content and management of the website of DST for the past few years for communicating development in S&T through DST website and social media. The activities were initiated in April 2016 and have gained momentum in alignment with the government’s initiatives. The project has helped in communicating S&T and projecting the achievements of DST through the digital platform. Vigyan Prasar has been producing scientific content of DST and communicating
on the digital and social media for wider dissemination and outreach.
