Participation at Lamakaan Amateur Radio Club (LARC, Hyderabad) Annual Convention 2019
Shri Sandeep Baruah from Vigyan Prasar delivered a lecture and made a demonstration on Automatic Packet Reporting System APRS® (an amateur radio digital communication technology developed by United States Naval Academy technology) during the Lamakaan Annual Radio Convention 2019 from 21 to 22 December 2019. Lamakaan Annual Radio Convention is a national technical convention organised by Lamakaan Amateur Radio Club, Hyderabad every year which has the participation of radio amateurs from all over India.
Amateur Radio Workshops at Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) and University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur
Two amateur radio workshops were organised by Vigyan Prasar at the ECE departments of Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) and University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur from 5 to 8 February 2020.
Both the workshop were organised under the banner of IEEE to promote amateur radio digital communication technologies like APRS® - a United States Naval Academy technology for GIS-based digital communication.
