Major Outreach Programmes
DST and VP Pavilion at the Pride of India Expo, at the 107th Indian Science Congress (3-7 January 2020), Bengaluru
Vigyan Prasar organised and coordinated the DST pavilion at Pride of India Expo during 107th Indian Science Congress 2020 from 3-7 January 2020 at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru. Fourteen autonomous institutes and subordinate offices of DST participated under
the banner of DST pavilion. An activity corner was also organised in collaboration with NCSTC. Activity corners were also put up to give a live demonstration to students from schools and colleges, researchers, and the general public. Some activity corners were:
1. Hydroponics/Nature Study and Vermi- composting: To give a live demonstration on the basics of hydroponics (grown without soil) and the dynamics of nature.
