Activity-corners giving a live demonstration to students from schools and colleges, researchers, and the general public.
2. Fun with science and low-cost teaching aids to engage the learner with concepts, practices, and natural phenomena to appreciate science around.
3. Fun with Mathematics: The mathematical principles were explained with the help of Origami by making different geometric models through paper folding. A special session was arranged for children.
4. Explaining Science Behind Miracles: A hands-on activity/demonstration for explaining the natural phenomenon, generally termed as miracles, through the inquiry-based method.
5. Fun with Chemistry: Basic principles of chemistry were explained with hands-on experiments.
6. The publications of Vigyan Prasar: Visiting children and teachers were provided with the details about the books, CD, activity kits, etc.
Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Hon’ble Union Minister S&T, ES&EFCC, inaugurated the pavilion. The pavilion was also visited by Secretary DST, and other officials of DST along with a large number of school children, students, researchers, and others.
