Dubbing of Films in Regional Languages:
Dubbing of the serial ‘Building blocks of Bharat’ (13 episodes) was completed in 10 regional languages − in Assamese, Oriya, Punjabi, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Malayalam, Urdu, Telugu and Gujarati.
Eureka - conversation with Indian scientist
VP in association with RSTV has been producing and telecasting a weekly serial ‘Eureka – Conversation with Indian Scientist’. A weekly talk show (interview based) is jointly being organised by Vigyan Prasar and RSTV. Dr T V Venkateswaran, Scientist F, VP is the anchor of the programme. The show is coming on air uninterruptedly on RSTV. Further, during this
F.Y. the show is also telecast on DD News/India. The show received 104 slots during the period under report.
Outreach Support To ISRO
Outreach support to ISRO was provided during the Chandrayaan-2 mission launch and attempted soft landing on the Moon. As a member of the outreach committee of ISRO for Chandrayaan-2, Dr T V Venkateswaran undertook live telecast on RSTV and many other channels. Six special episodes on Chandrayaan-2 were made during the period.
Total viewership on YouTube crossed 10 lakh. In addition, the Tamil version had a viewership of 4 lakh.
