Glimpses of different activities during the Nature Study Camp, Tripura
Nature Study Camp for tribal districts of Tripura
Activity Camp for Children to Understand the Dynamics of Nature was organized at Agartala (Tripura) from February 11 to 14, 2020. During the four days of nature camp several hands-on activities, field visits to different places, the exhibition of the activities undertaken by the participating children were performed. Total 56 school students covering eight districts of Tripura and guide teachers participated in the camp.
Workshop On Innovative Experiments In Physics For Classroom Teaching, 5-8 March 2020, NIT Calicut (Kerala)
Vigyan Prasar and The Department of Physics, National Institute of Technology Calicut (NIT C) organised a four-day training workshop to make Physics understandable, perceivable and enjoyable through a participatory and engagement process, at High School and Secondary School levels. The main aim of this workshop was to equip the interested and motivated physics teachers at high school and secondary levels with innovative ideas and with creative demonstration/ experiments so that each of them becomes the focal point in his/ her region to spread this teaching methodology. Many of the physics teachers who had attended our earlier National Level Workshops have now become competent
