Description and Functionality
SAHAT is a wearable mechatronic device two-way communication device for persons with multiple disabilities having multi-sensory impairments. The device is a wearable bracelet and works on vibration based signals and operates on 1.5 to 6.0 Volt. The system essentially comprises of a 4 channel signal generating receiver and transmitter and has three types of indicators - light, audio and vibration. It is a convenient communication tool for parents and instructors. It is low cost and easy handling device.
State-of-the-art
Built in 32-bit cortex M3 Processor, Built in Xbee wireless Module, SOS button for alert as an audio/ vibration. Set of communication instructions are coded in programmable memory
   Stage of Development
The wearable Prototype has been field tested and ready for commercialization
