Description and Functionality
Fore-arm and under-arm crutches, mostly made of Aluminum, Mild Steel or Wood are available in the market. None of these has shock absorbing mechanism. Crutches developed are under-arm crutches with spring arrangement that provides comfort to the underarms. It can be useful while walking on rough or uneven surfaces.
State-of-the-art
The spring in the modified crutches absorbs the shock which will reduce the pain in the underarms, while walking in an uneven surface.
