Description and Functionality
The developed system is a customized version of Linux based operating system, which addresses the identified issues of elderly user while interacting with the computer system which includes the file creation, file browsing, search and locate resources, etc. Basic system level interaction which includes the login, requirement based font setting, quick application launcher, file operations are implemented as part of the system environment. The unique features of the system include the categorized grid view to minimize the complexity, single mouse click environment for any operation, gesture based interaction and password manager. A live CD of the operating system environment is provided so that user need not install Shradha in their existing environment to get experience with it.

The popular Operating Systems (OS) like windows, various Linux versions, Mac, etc., seldom consider the accessibility problems of software and ICT applications whereas Shradha is distinguished from the popular OS environments in terms of minimal & simple interface, profile based categorized view, password manager, interaction via gestures and live CD which eases the installation procedure.
