INSTRUCTIONS TO OCCUPANTS

IF YOU DISCOVER A FIRE:
• IMMEDIATELY sound the fire alarm by activating the red fire alarm pull station near an exit.
• Call the Fire Department from a safe location. DIAL 9 1 1
• Tell them you are reporting a fire at 888 WEST KENT AVENUE SOUTH.

The nearest intersection is WEST KENT AVENUE SOUTH & SHAUGHNESSY STREET
• Close all doors behind you, leave the building by the nearest safe exit.
• If safe to do so, attempt to extinguish the fire using the fire extinguisher nearest you.
• Never fight a fire alone and always keep your back to an exit.

WHEN YOU HEAR THE FIRE ALARM:
• Leave the building immediately by the nearest safe exit.
• When you have reached the outside of the building, move away from the exit door.
• Go to the DESIGNATED ASSEMBLY AREA: north side of the building

DO NOT GO BACK INTO THE BUILDING FOR ANY REASON.
The Fire Department will advise you when it is safe to do so.
