Showmen and Agricultural Shows working together...
BALLARAT
8-10 November 2019
The Ballarat Spring Show will be held on Friday 8th, Saturday 9ht and Sunday 10th November 2019.
The Society were appreciative of the Showmen’s Guild in 2018 and looks forward to welcoming members back to the Showgrounds for the 2019 Show.
We will be having the same structure for this year’s Show and we look forward to working together once again with the Guild Members’.
Whilst we are limited with our current space our plans are still in place to relocate the Showground’s to the new site.
BAIRNSDALE
9 November 2019
The Bairnsdale Show will be held on the 9th of November 2019 at the Bairnsdale Racecourse.
This year will see our 140th Show and we will be celebrating this great event!
The Bairnsdale Show has been growing in size over the past few years and
the Society would like the support of Members to help maintain the growth of our Show.
Our Show goers love to see the carnival rides come into town as no other
event in this area provides this form of entertainment and excitement for not only the little ones and teenagers but adults too!
We will have many attractions such as a family area with many children’s activities on offer, our horticulture pavilion that is filled with plenty of floral displays along with our cooking sections, jams and cake decorating as well as children’s art and craft.
There will be a car and ute show and shine displaying vintage cars, trucks, hot rods and motorcycles. This year we will have a dunking tank – which will provide plenty of fun!
There will be market stalls, community stage, wood chops, animal petting area, horse events and so much more!
We hope to see many Members there.
BERRIGAN
6 October 2019
Berrigan A&H Society welcomes all Showmen to the 2019 Show, which will be held on Sunday 6th October 2019.
The Society is seeking support from our
Members to attend their 121st Show. Audiences have increased over the past few years with young families, teenagers and families with their children and grandchildren in attendance.
Camping is available the week prior to the Show and on site amenities available from the Monday prior to the Show for our Member convenience.
DANDENONG
9-10 November 2019
On behalf of the Dandenong Agricultural & Pastoral Society Inc., I wish to warmly invite members of the Victorian Showmen’s Guild to attend this year’s Show.
The City of Greater Dandenong Health Department is very stringent in their requirements and we would like to remind all Guild members of some rules pertaining to the Dandenong Show: Anyone selling or giving away FOOD items, including pre-packaged items; drinks; snow cones; lollies; fairy floss, etc. MUST provide a copy of their current Streatrader Registration.
The emergency concrete pathway at the rear of the camping area is to be kept CLEAR at all times and no water is to be discharged onto same.
Grey water must be adequately contained and disposed of in the dump point provided at the front of the Netball Complex, near the toilets. It is not to be discharged to the ground.
No dogs are allowed OFF leash within Greaves Reserve. Please ensure they are on leash at all times.
Insurance documentation is to be presented to our representatives at 2pm on Friday 8th November, 2019.

The Show to be held on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th October 2019.
The Society welcomes Members to the 2019 Show.
FOSTER
The Foster Show will be held in 2020 following the cancellation of their 2019 Show.
The Show will be held on Saturday 22nd
February 2020.
MINYIP
CANCELLED
The Minyip A&P Society will formally disband and the Minyip Show will no longer be held.
The sad decision was made at a public meeting hosted by the Society, and comes about due to a lack of new members and recruits to support the running of the Show.
SEYMOUR
4-5 October 2019
The Seymour Show will be held on Friday 4th & Saturday 5th October 2019.
Friday will operate from 4.00 pm to 9.00 pm and will feature live music, food & beverage stalls, shows bags, market stalls, rides and a clown on stilts making balloons.
The Friday night will be finished off with fireworks.
On Saturday the Show will feature food & beverage stalls, show bags, market stalls, rides.
A highlight will be the Whip Industries motorbike performance, The Chainsaw Chick wood sculptor, Wild Action Reptile &Animal Display, Farmer Daryl’s Petting Enclosure, Lego Display from Brickventure and a Clown on Stilts making balloons. The Showgrounds are located at Kings Park, Tallarook Street Seymour Victoria 3661

SWAN HILL
4-5 October 2019
The 124th Annual Swan Hill Agricultural Show will be held on the 4th & 5th October 2019.
All Members working within the Showmen’s Guild area are required to provide a valid Working With Children’s Check. All food vendors are required to register with Swan Hill Rural City Council through Streatrader.
We greatly appreciate your cooperation and compliance with these regulations. We would like to thank the Showmen’s Guild, Entertainers, Vendors and Volunteers
