TACC
The Tasmanian Automotive Chamber of Commerce (TACC) has served the automotive industry since 1930. TACC amalgamated with the Victorian Automotive Chamber of Commerce (VACC) in 1999, and since then TACC has been able to provide members with a more diversified range of services while maintaining a Tasmanian perspective to address local issues. All the products and services delivered by VACC to its members are available to our Tasmanian members.
TACC also has several additional services available for its members.
Electrical test and tagging ETCS Electrical and Fire
It’s your duty of care to provide a safe working environment and part of that obligation is to have your electrical equipment tested regularly. ETCS works with TACC to support members with testing and tagging and the administration required.

Auto Apprenticeships
TACC runs a Group Apprenticeship Scheme. Applicants are carefully recruited by TACC and are hosted by members. For more detail see the Auto Apprenticeships page earlier in this guide.

Roadside Help
TACC Roadside Help is a loyalty program designed and operated exclusively for TACC members. Members purchase packs of Roadside Help vouchers from TACC.
These are then given to customers free of charge. These vouchers entitle the customer to free, limited roadside help for a flat battery, fuel, tyre change or a tow back to the member’s business.

Accreditation
TACC Accredited Repairers are promoted to the community as a group of professionals who deliver quality repairs and service. Participating members enter into a contract with TACC to deliver a more professional level of service. TACC promotes those members through various forms of advertising, particularly TV.

Stationery
Most VACC stationery items are held at TACC and members should contact TACC for supply. TACC also stocks TACC or Tasmanian-tailored items for members.
