Does your business require employment contracts?
VACC employment contracts are tailored to the automotive industry.
Why do your employees require a written employment contract?
Employment contracts are used to set out essential terms and conditions of employment, such as wages, entitlements and hours of work. For this reason, they are critical in preventing disputes with employees and avoiding costly litigation.
Why should VACC draft your employment contracts?
Industrial Relations keeps up to date with changes in legislation and the decisions of Courts and Tribunals.
It is also the peak automotive industry body and understands your needs. VACC is therefore in the best position to draft employment contracts for your business.
Why shouldn’t I use a template employment contract?
Due to the diversity of employees in the industry and the varied nature of business operations, a template contract is not recommended. A ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach can lead to a breach of the relevant award or legislation.
What are the drafting fees?
The nature of the industry and relevant award makes drafting employment contracts a time consuming exercise. Employment contracts can be complicated, particularly where there are bonuses and/or commission payments.
