Dear members friends and readers,
Happy New Year!
Let’s hope 2023 is outstanding.
This report finds me at home waiting for the Maitland Show and hoping for a great Show.
By all reports the Shows from the beginning of the year have all been quite successful.
No rain or fires this year so far, so all is good.
As you know, we have our next meeting in April when we bring in our new members and a new delegation and working committee.
I would like to stress to our members that your vote is crucial.
When you’re voting think about the best outcome that you can, to represent yourself and the Guild.
Our delegates and committee work very hard and would appreciate any assistance whether you sit for a position or not. The paperwork has become a lot, and our delegates are trying to run their own businesses as well. This is a big task so if you can please assist the delegation in any way, if at all possible.
The insurance issue is still plaguing with either unrealistic prices, and/or very difficult to obtain.
I don’t have anything to report on the DMF in this report, but I hope as the year goes on we get more information and hopefully some good news.
Let’s get the Show on the road.
