Dear members friends and readers,
Hello again members and readers of TOS,
2022 has been a year we won’t forget in a hurry, with Insurance crisis, rain and floods, huge shows and cancelations all at the same time.
With the lifting of COVID restrictions most of the country shows went ahead with great results.
The capitals all had huge crowds again and very successful by all accounts.
Our regulators are requiring more and more information, and new ways of receiving it in each state and territory. The digital logbook is welcomed and well received by the regulators and insurance brokers alike, so hopefully 2023 will be made simpler bringing us into the next generation of compliance and communication.
I’d also like to take this opportunity to ask the members, men and women to consider a role on the executive as our next year elections draw nearer. You know there are many roles to fill moving into 2023 and beyond. With new fresh ideas and helping hands much can be done.
As we come close to the end of the year I am writing this last report from my home in Newcastle. I’ve just travelled from Ballarat on the Victorian run.
I am looking forward to our Christmas carnival and some sunshine!
I wish to take this opportunity to wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
