Baw Baw Council wish to advise the dates and conditions of site access for the 2019 Warragul Show Carnival.
Site access for set up of carnival rides and attractions - .
BUMP IN
From 9.00am
Wednesday 27th February 2019
2019 WARRAGUL SHOW
Friday 1st March and Saturday 2nd March 2019.
BUMP OUT
The Carnival site must be vacated by 5.00pm Monday 4 March 2019 to allow Council to reinstate the grounds, ready for normal user group activity.
CONDITIONS
The Showmen’s Guild Delegates must report to the Warragul Show Office prior to set up to ensure the committee can manage the area effectively and have knowledge of who is on site.
Before vacating the site the Showmen’s Guild Delegates must report back to
the Show Office so that your committee can check the site has been left in a satisfactory condition and all rubbish has been cleaned up.
PENALTIES
Council’s Community Compliance Officers will patrol the grounds following conclusion of the carnival, and failure to vacate the
site by 5pm Monday 5 March 2019 and/or remove all rubbish may result in penalty notices being issued.

 INSURANCE
City of Greater Bendigo requires a copy of all Members certificate of currency (Public Liability Insurance) prior to Monday 11th March 2019.

SITE ACCESS FOR SET UP OF CARNIVAL RIDES AND ATTRACTIONS
The set up time has been brought forward to minimise OH&S concerns and Members setting up during the evening.
Bump in will commence from 9.00am on Thursday 18 April 2019. Security will be onsite during bump in to assist with public access.
CAMPING
The Bendigo Show Society has kindly made camping available to Members at the Bendigo Showground.
A fee of $25.00 per night is to be paid to the office upon arrival or to the ground staff. Access to the Showgrounds is via the Main Gate or Gate 1 & 2
Campsites are available around the stable area. Members will have access to the toilet block near Gate 1.
Please note: there will be Markets operating at the Showground during this period.
CONDITIONS
• Members are reminded to comply with the directions of the Victorian Showmen’s Guild Delegates.
• Please note that no power is available on site.
• Members must coordinate their own generator power on site.
• The festival is a smoke free event, which includes the Carnival area.
• Food vendors must ensure that they are registered with the City of Greater Bendigo
and comply with all local council regulations.
• Members must hold current Working with Children checks.
• Please protect council property and vegetation.
• Please ensure that your site is left in clean and satisfactory condition prior to leaving.
• Recycle, organic and general waste will be made available for the
Victorian Showmen’s Guild across the festival weekend.
• Worksafe and the CFA will be onsite on Thursday during bump in and across the
weekend for site inspections.
