Greetings from Melbourne!
At this time we are preparing for the Melbourne Royal Show.
The winter show runs all went well
of course with the challenge we face with committees and governing bodies ever changing ideas and rules.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our delegates and volunteers who work tirelessly to keep it running as smoothly as possible.
Some of our members have just attended the EKKA and Adelaide Shows where the numbers are down but we expected that we’ve had two very good years.
We attended the Gold Coast Show on the board water.
With fantastic weather it’s a spectacular venue for a show. The numbers were down due to the heat but it’s a great event and it’s great to showcase our industry in such a great light on the Gold Coast.
We, the Showmen’s Guild of Australasia received a bear, gifted to us from Future 4 Fairgrounds ladies, with the intention of raising awareness of our industry and our lifestyle.
10 Future 4 Fairgrounds bears have been sent around the world. Our “Aussie” bear has had a huge impact and I believe given us great recognition in our worlds community. You can see her on the social media platform, Facebook and Instagram introducing our Australian Showmen, families and equipment. If you see her getting around jump in and get involved.
