Shepparton Agricultural Society Inc. welcome Members of the Showmens’ Guild to our 142nd Annual Shepparton Show.
The Shepparton Show will be held on Friday 12th & Saturday 13th October 2018 open 10am to 10pm on both Friday and Saturday.
Shepparton Agricultural Society takes control of the Showground on Monday 8th October 2018, vehicle will be admitted to the grounds from 12noon on Monday 8th October.
The only Entry and Exit is via the sliding gates located in Fryer Street.
Insurance documentation and Collection of Rent
Friday 12th October 2018 from 10.00 am
Food Traders
All food vendors must register with Streatrader and all paperwork must be submitted least 2 weeks prior to our show i.e. show date 12th & 13th October 2018
Temporary Food Permits
All operators of food vans must comply with City of Greater Shepparton regulations.Temporary Food Permit applications MUST BE SUMITTED NO LATER THAN FRIDAY 28 SEPTEMBER 2018 prior to the event.

Council has declared the Showgrounds to be an ‘Alcohol Free Zone’. Fines from $200.00 apply for consumption of alcohol in a public place.
Camper Registration
To comply with Greater Shepparton City Council permit conditions, Shepparton Agricultural Society is required to maintain a register specifying the name and address of each campsite occupier, the arrival and departure dates of each occupier and the campsite and vehicle registration numbers in respect to each occupier. All campsite occupiers must register at the Secretary’s office.
All sites are to be left clean and tidy with all rubbish removed and placed in appropriate bins. The Council require that all sites be cleared and vacated by 10.00am Tuesday 16th October 2018.
Emergency Vehicle Gate
Access points are:
Gate 1 - High St Gate
Gate 3 - Thompson &
Gate 8 - Corner High & Archer Street
Emergency Exits
There must be a clearway left on corners of emergency access routes to allow large emergency vehicles to clear access throughout the grounds and be aware of front of house with, awnings, shutters etc. opening onto the street.
Vehicles
There is no vehicle movement during show operating times 10am-10pm, except for Emergency vehicles and where it is absolutely necessary. Livestock exhibitors must be escorted and move at walking pace with their hazard lights operating during show time.
Please obey directions given by Traffic Marshalls. Please note there is NO vehicle parking on main arena.
Carpark located at Gate 3 entry is not available for Showmens Guild vehicles, as this is being used as Community display and activities. No truck parking on the vacant block on Archer St, as we only have permission from the owners to use it for livestock exhibitors trucks, horse floats and trailer parking at show-time(i.e. Friday and Saturday) We appreciate your understanding and compliance with this condition of use.
Sullage
No grey wastewater is permitted on the ground surface under any circumstances.
Sullage drain outlets have been provided to some areas. All waste water must be contained and emptied into sullage drain outlets. Dump point is located near Gate 4, cnr Thompson & Byass St. Please keep this area clear to allow access at all times for all users.
Traders and Exhibitors:
All marquees must be safely secured to prevent being them moving in the event of wind.
Electrical Leads
Please ensure all electrical leads are tested and tagged
LPG Gas
Please ensure all LPG gas cylinders are compliant with current safety standards. We thank you for understanding and co-operation with these procedures.
