tonight, they've got VAR and we
still get robbed," he said in a

side monitor. The issue lasted for
approximately ten minutes, during
which time two penalties were
awarded. UEFA, the governing
body for football in Europe, states
that in situations like this, the
assistant referees watching the
VAR screens must relay to the on-
field referee what can be seen from
the replays. He/she must do this
with no bias. The on-field referee
must then make a decision from
this information. One can only
imagine the state of bewilderment
amongst managers, coaches, and
even spectators, while this was
going on.
