Summer Camps
Camp-Can-Do
Ages 5-13
Camp-Can-Do is a unique and innovative approach to providing educational and recreational opportunities for youth with special needs ages 5 to 13 during the summer months. This eight-week program is geared toward educating youth on a variety of positive and socially appropriate pursuits, as well as providing a high level of supervision for fun summer activities. Throughout the summer we hope to encourage each child’s talents to grow. Camp-Can-Do campers will participate in adapted recreational activities like art, music, reading, language skills, speech, socialization, swimming,  eld trips and special events. There is a $75.00 discount on the fourth session if you sign up and attend all four sessions. A $20.00 non-refundable deposit is due at time of registration. The Camp-Can-Do program runs Mondays through Thursdays in four two-week sessions. No Camp 7/4
S.T.O.P
Satisfaction Through Opportunity Program Ages 14-22

The Camp S.T.O.P. program runs Mondays through Thursdays in four two-week sessions. No Camp 7/4
ROCK ON!
An Alternative Approach to String Playing Grades 5 to 8
(at least one year string experience)
Come and work with the members of the Lakewood Project on the non-traditional aspects of playing your string instrument. Campers will learn how to improvise, compose their own music as well as learn several rock pieces that will be performed with the Lakewood Project in concert. Percussionists, guitarists, and electric bass players are also welcome to register.

Strings On Fire
A Classic Approach to String Playing Grades 5 to 8
(at least one year string experience)
Come work with guest conductors representing the Ohio String Teachers Association! Students will attend traditional orchestra rehearsals, participate in same instrument sectionals and technique sessions as well as possibly be selected to participate in chamber music ensembles. This amazing week long camp is a sure re way to advance your string player’s playing ability and love for the instrument.

Kids Connection
KC is an all day activity program coordinated by certi ed teachers for children in grades K-6. Includes sports activities, arts and crafts, swimming,  eld trips, theme days, and special events. Afternoon snack provided. Children must bring a packed lunch each day. Swimming lessons at Foster Pool available at an additional cost. No Camp 7/4.
