EVENT OPTIMIZATION



          CONFERENCES


          Following a comprehensive review of CERI's event strategy in
          2017, the decision was made to move away from the conference

          "pure play" approach in favour of developing partnerships
          across Canada which would provide CERI with elevated levels

          of exposure and reduce the financial risk often associated with
          the production of large scale conference events.



          CERI will continue to host the premier petrochemicals                                            MARKETING &
          conference in Western Canada each June in Kananaskis, but has

          partnered with Argus Media to host the annual Argus Canada
          Week conference where the Institute will provide oil, gas,
          electricity and carbon content which had been offered at past                          COMMUNICATIONS

          CERI events such as the Oil and Gas Symposium and Electricity
          Conference. We will continue to develop this relationship in

          coming years.



          In addition, CERI continues to seek opportunities to partner
          with other event organizers to disseminate study content and

          grow the CERI network.







          BREAKFAST OVERVIEW SERIES

          In addition to the CERI Petrochemical Conference and Argus

          Canada Week events, the two primary conferences with which
          CERI is involved, the Institute hosts an independent series of

          smaller events (8-10 each year) which promote the release of
          each study. CERI focused its attention in Calgary during the

          close of the 2017-2018 year but will expand its network across
          Canada in 2018-2019 working with identified partners such as

          Bow Valley College and other academic institutes.
