Plain sterile dry swabs for specimen collection.

Each 6 inch sterile swab on a plastic shaft comes
labelled for inclusion of details such as Date/Site 96336
and Time References. The swab comes in its own polypropylene
tube for transport back to the laboratory. Normally sold in Pk 0f 10
but larger quantities can be supplied if required. Please contact our

Please Note: These are NOT DNA free and should not be used at live
crime scenes as there may be a possibility of contamination. Use
product 96337 shown in this section.

‘DNA Free’ Sterile Transport Swabs

These swabs are certified ‘DNA Free’ and are for CODE
use at crime scenes. It has been found that medical 96337
transport swabs (such as our 96336 swabs) being
sold by competitors for ‘live’ crime scene work may be contaminated
as the process they undergo does not entirely kill DNA and therefore
may well cause problems later if taken to court.
Normally sold in packs of 10 but larger quantities are available.
