               Dear Mr. Newman:

Your Medicare evaluation is enclosed. Please check the information on the client data sheet on
page 5 to make sure it is correct. Also, verify that the attached list of your Rx drugs, dosages,
               and monthly quantities is accurate.

In most cases the costs shown in your evaluation are for the 2018 plan year, even though you
will be enrolled only for the last seven months of this year. As you indicated in your
questionnaire, a Medigap policy is the logical choice for your supplemental coverage because
one of your physicians is in another state.

Even so, it’s possible that you could save money by enrolling in a low-premium Advantage PPO
plan and paying out-of-network charges when you see Dr. Alexander. But you would be taking
on substantial risk. All the Advantage PPO plans in your area have a $10,000 out-of-pocket limit
if you include non-network services, and when you see Dr. Alexander you would pay 40% of the
cost of the visit or treatment. Attached is a list of the 18 Advantage plans in your zip code, six of
               them PPO’s.

Your evaluation compares four Medigap plans (Plans F, G, N, and L). As you know, Medigap
policies do not have networks and are ideal for people who want to have good coverage when
they see doctors in other states. Medigap policies do not include prescription drug coverage,
and so people who have these policies must also enroll in Part D stand-alone plans, discussed in
the Rx drug coverage section below.

It might help to review features that all Medigap policies share (you may already be aware of
these). These policies can be purchased during the first six months you have Part A and Part B
without your having to answer health-related questions.

But after that period has past, in Kansas and most other states, if you want to get a Medigap
policy or upgrade from a less comprehensive to a more comprehensive Medigap plan, you will
have to answer questions about your health before getting a quote. And people who have
serious pre-existing conditions may not be able to purchase a Medigap policy, upgrade to a
