Page 2 - Rx Drug Evaluation for Mrs. Irene Ellsworth
P. 2

If you have already begun taking these two drugs, of course, you will need fewer than six
months of tablets in 2019. But in the Express Scripts Medicare Saver plan, these drugs are
inexpensive ($7 and $9, respectively, for 13 tablets), and there would be less than a $20
reduction in the 2019 costs, for instance, if you take them only for the first four months of the
               year.

Finally, I think there may be an error in the Humana-Walmart Rx plan pricing, which indicates
that the full price of ondansetron is almost $500. The full price should be a fraction of that
amount, probably under $20. But even when I removed ondansetron from the list of your drugs
to see whether the Humana-Walmart Rx plan is a otherwise a good option, it is several hundred
dollars more expensive than the Express Scripts Medicare Saver plan.

Mrs. Ellsworth, please let me know if you have questions or would like additional information.

                                                   Sincerely,

                                                   David Armes, CFP®
