               Dear Margaret:

Your Medicare evaluation is enclosed. Please check the information on the client data sheet on
page 5 to make sure it is correct. In most cases, the costs shown in your evaluation are
estimates for the last seven months of the 2020 plan year except for the estimates of annual
Medigap premiums on pages 6-7. Also, your Part B premiums are assumed to be the standard
               premiums ($144.60 a month).

Enrolling in Part A and Part B

You have probably already enrolled in Part A and Part B, but in case you haven’t, you can
contact Social Security at (800) 772-1213 and let the representative know you want to begin
your Part A and Part B coverage on June 1. You should receive your Medicare card in the mail
within two or three weeks after you call.

Making sure your providers accept your coverage

Dr. Rheinfelder and Israel Albarran are both listed in the Medicare provider directory, but I
could not find Dr. Martin. Appendix A1 includes information from a third-party site indicating
that Dr. Martin accepts Medicare, but it would be a good idea for you to verify that with her
office. Dr. Stroh is not listed in the Medicare provider directory, but dentists rarely are since
Medicare does not cover dental services.

All your medical providers (but not Dr. Stroh) are listed in the networks of the two Advantage
plans compared in your evaluation (Appendix A2). But before enrolling in an Advantage plan
you should verify with your providers that they are still in the plan’s network.

               Enrolling in your supplemental coverage

After enrolling in Parts A&B, the next step is to choose your supplemental coverage, which will
also include your Part D benefits. If you enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan, it will include your
Part D coverage in its overall benefit package. If you get a Medigap policy, you will also need to
enroll in a Medicare prescription drug plan (also called a stand-alone drug plan).
