               Mrs. Mary Beth Parsons
               3801 Barnsley Court
               Bryan, TX 77802

               Dear Mrs. Parsons:

Your Medicare evaluation is enclosed. Please check the information on the client data sheet on
page 5 to make sure it is correct. Also, verify that the attached list of the prescription drugs that
you take, including their dosages and monthly quantities, is correct.

In most cases the costs shown in your evaluation are estimates for the 2018 plan year. Because
plans change their costs and benefits yearly, these estimates apply only to 2018. You indicated
that you are interested in comparing both types of coverage – Medigap policies and Medicare
Advantage plans. Your evaluation compares three Medigap plans (G, N, and L), and an
Advantage plan -- the Humana Choice Regional PPO Plan.

               Medigap policies

It might help to review features that all Medigap policies share (you may already be aware of
these). They can be purchased during the first six months you have Part A and Part B without
your having to answer health-related questions, although in Texas and most other states
premiums will be adjusted for your age.

After that initial six-month period has past, you will likely have to answer questions about your
health before receiving a premium quote. Moreover, those who have serious pre-existing
conditions could be denied coverage. In some cases it is not difficult to get a Medigap policy in
later retirement, but individuals who wait to acquire a Medigap policy should be aware that
they will be medically underwritten when they apply.

Perhaps the most desirable attribute of Medigap policies is the flexibility they offer. You do not
need referrals to see specialists and you will be covered when you go to any provider who
accepts Medicare (as some 99% of doctors and public hospitals do). That means you can see
virtually any doctor in the U.S. or go to any hospital or clinic and be covered. Because Medigap
policies are nationally standardized, your benefits and coverage are the same in every state.

SMedigap policies do not include prescription drug benefits, and if you buy a Medigap policy
you will also need to enroll in a Part D stand-alone drug plan, discussed in the Rx drug coverage
section below. Neither do Medigap policies cover routine dental and vision care or hearing aids.
