                                                  (Mid-summer 2014) Brothers from Theta Rho Lambda Chapter and Iota
             • Bro. Keith Laing married Ashley    Alpha Chapter conducted the Chapter’s first Brothers’ Keeper Project
               Hagans on September 20, 2014       with our very own Bro. Reaves.  All the Brothers ate well and had
                                                  spirited conversations about everything from Alpha back in the day all
                                                  the way to sports. The project was a success and everyone involved
                                                  enjoyed themselves and would like to do it again sooner rather than later.

                                                  Brothers who want to participate in the next Brothers Keeper project
                                                  should contact Bro. Glover.

           Introduction of newly reclaimed brother:


           Bro. George White

           George R. White, Jr. was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and hails from [the]
           Mighty Mighty Midwestern Region and recently relocated to the Northern Virginia
           Area to be with his wife. He is a Spring 2013 initiate of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity,
           Inc., Alpha Rho Lambda Chapter in Columbus, Ohio. He served, as chapter
           Parliamentarian, committee member of Alpha Esquires (Chapter Youth Development
           Group) and Chair of Constitution committee as a delegate at [the] 2013 Mighty
           Mighty Midwestern Regional Conference. He earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree
           in Computer Science, graduating magna cum laude from Jackson State University. Mr.
           White has been employed by Alcatel-Lucent for 17 years as [a] Software/Hardware
           Engineer. Mr. White has truly enjoyed the fellowship with the brothers of Alpha East
           since he has relocated to Northern Virginia especially the brothers of Theta Rho
           Lambda. The brothers reminded him of one of his favorite poems, “He Ain’t Heavy,
           He’s My Brother,” by Brother Freeman Montague, Jr. and the following line:
