PEOPLE FIRST
Our core businesses are catering and cleaning,
and these are labour intensive services so therefore the attitude, motivation, skills and productivity of our individuals and teams has a major impact on our ability to compete and retain client contracts. We work in a highly competitive environment.
We also work in sectors generally recognised as
a low-pay sectors. In competitive tenders it is
often the lowest price that wins the contract.
Our policy is not to operate a low investment business service model. We seek opportunities to work with clients who have high expectations and who want to engage with a forward thinking contractor who can be entrusted to deliver their outcomes by investing in training and best operating practices and who will deliver their promises and commitments.
The labour cost is always the greatest proportion of the cost of service delivery, even in catering contracts. In cleaning contracts it’s the most substantial element at circa 70% to 80%. Therefore the return on investment from this large level of the budget must be carefully and consistently supported and managed. We have developed a digital platform to allow all members of our team access to all the necessary
information that they will need to perform to their optimum ability.
We take a great deal of care and attention to finding and keeping talented people who we empower to deliver for our clients and in the process enjoy good working conditions and
a flexible approach to their personal circumstances. Nth Degree Catering Company is a business where many our team have worked together for many years, the longest over 20 years and many at
8 years plus on average. We have our team in place to cater for COSLA’s cleaning requirements. Our team identified for COSLA is professional and motivated to deliver for you from the outset.
