The Old Derbeian Society
to the Derbeian and was one of the pillars of the Debating Society, his lively fancy and love of the paradoxical leading to many startling and unusual lines of argument and equally startling conclusions.
Of good ability and kindly nature, a loyal Derbeian, he will long be remembered with affection by those of his time.
