On top of the marketing that we carry out for your ebook – both the in-house services that we offer, and all of the promotional work that we do around
promotions and media coverage – we also send out information about forthcoming books and ebooks.We send four seasonal retail email blasts out to over 5,000 of Matador’s book buying
customers, and we also publish a quarterly Highlights magazine to showcase forthcoming titles to customers and retailers.
Half-page entries are chosen at our discretion, but authors can book a guaranteed full-page advert in Highlights for £75+VAT. Email marketing@troubador.co.uk to book your space in the
next catalogue.
Amazon KDP Select
We now offer the Kindle Select programme as an option for all of our new ebook authors. However, we can’t enter existing ebooks into Kindle Select, as they will have been available on a site other than Amazon previously, which breaches Kindle’s terms. Your ebook must be exclusively available on Amazon during the time that it’s in the programme, so we upload it to Amazon only for the first ninety days that it’s on sale.We then upload it to our wider retailer distribution network after the ninety days have come to an end. This option offers a number of benefits that can prove useful in increasing your ebook's sales, pushing it up in the charts and thus increasing its discoverability.
