general and state related information, non-partisan resources.
■ Bipartisan Campaign Finance Reform Act 2002
■ Worked to renew the Voting Rights Act
■ Lead an education project on Judicial Independence.
■ Worked on projects to foster a balanced dialogue of homeland security issues
and civil liberties.
■ Supported Global Democracy programs with women from Africa, Brazil,
Ukraine and Russia.
■ Supported the Affordable Care Act 2009
■ Supported the “Dream Act”

■ Lobbied to control global climate change by setting a cap on greenhouse
pollution, encourage conservation and renewable energy.
■ EPA Clean Power Plan
■ Fix NICS Act - improve and enforce reporting to the National Institute for
Criminal Background Check System
■ Fight to reform money in politics in Congress and state legislatures.
■ Reform our national campaign finance system.
■ Voting Rights Advancement Act – every voter regardless of where they live
has equal access to the ballot box, protected from unfair laws and practices.
■ Promote transparent and accountable redistricting process through indepen-
dent special commissions.
■ Fair immigration policy laws that provide efficient, expeditious system for
immigrants entering the United States.
■ Work to protect air, land and water resources and control pollution.
■ Work to combat voter suppression through advocacy, grassroots
organizing, legal action and public education.
