Essential Requirements:
Hold a recognised university degree or diploma with first or second-class honours in
which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours were obtained in that
subject.
Have an appropriate post-graduate professional qualification recognised by the
Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical Psychology.
Meet the Psychological Society of Ireland and Dept. of Health and Children
guidelines for employment as a Basic Grade Clinical Psychologist in the Health
Services.

Provide support to persons with intellectual disabilities in all aspects of daily living,
including personal care.
Provide support in the person’s home within Camphill Carrick On Suir and in wider
community settings.
To ensure the provision of a quality service, working in partnership with the person
being supported members of the Community and the person’s wider circle of
support.
