Albert the American
Albert settled into American life very quickly.
He particularly liked the general attitudes
and many freedoms of the United States.
Albert was impressed with the privilege of being
able to speak your mind openly and without
fear. Back in Germany, the Nazi Party was
planting spies throughout the towns and cities
to assure that no one publicly criticized Hitler
or his policies. Those who did so could expect
quick and severe punishment.
