It’s a CVT world out there

Cvt’s have been hitting the shops and more

and more shops are doing them with mixed

results. Nissan CVT imo are the must repair-

able, used parts can be sourced most of the

time. Kits are of concern again like with seal

Ring issue I mentioned before Cvt kits can

be a issue, proceed with caution,

Also pulley’s should come apart for inspec-

tion to confirm pulleys are good. Balls or

rollers and shaft grooves must be smooth

and pulley needs to travel nice and smooth.

Flow control if present is the most im-

portant part in the unit and imo should al-

ways be addressed by what ever resource
