DRIVE RANGE – 4TH GEAR
(Torque Converter Clutch Applied)
The torque converter clutch (TCC) applies during 4th gear opera-
tion when the transmission control module (TCM) receives the
appropriate input signals to energize (turn ON) the Torque Con-
verter Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid. The TCC can apply in 2nd
and 3rd gear also.
